Data Retention
This page defines default retention expectations for hosted Flaggr environments.
Default Retention Categories
- Configuration data (projects, services, flags): retained while account is active.
- Audit logs: retained for operational and governance review.
- Evaluation telemetry: retained for observability and trend analysis.
- Security and operational logs: retained for incident investigation.
Deletion and Cleanup
- Tenant deletion requests trigger scheduled data cleanup workflows.
- Test and temporary data should be tagged and removed regularly.
- Backups are retained for disaster recovery under platform policy windows.
Notes
- Self-hosted deployments control their own retention windows.
- Regulated workloads can apply stricter internal retention policies.
