Last updated March 3, 2026

Data Retention

This page defines default retention expectations for hosted Flaggr environments.

Default Retention Categories

  • Configuration data (projects, services, flags): retained while account is active.
  • Audit logs: retained for operational and governance review.
  • Evaluation telemetry: retained for observability and trend analysis.
  • Security and operational logs: retained for incident investigation.

Deletion and Cleanup

  • Tenant deletion requests trigger scheduled data cleanup workflows.
  • Test and temporary data should be tagged and removed regularly.
  • Backups are retained for disaster recovery under platform policy windows.

Notes

  • Self-hosted deployments control their own retention windows.
  • Regulated workloads can apply stricter internal retention policies.
